table talk

the "tablescape" -- a term attributed to the late British designer David Hicks (1929-1998) -- is the art of arranging beautiful objects beautifully...on a table, that is. Above are some tablescapes that please my eyes.

I have always enjoyed well organized desks and spaces. Places with order and purpose that are at the same time beautiful.

Notice the gold chair in images 3 and 4 -- (a favorite chair of mine) works amazingly well in both a more old world traditional and a cleaner romantic space.
