"And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt." - Sylvia Plath

Chloe s/s 2011 via style.com. After loving the past few seasons of Chloe...and now this...I am a loyal fan forever of Hannah MacGibbon. The color palette, the flow, the femininity, the materials, and the ballet slippers are devine - so close to the ground just as I like.

"It's funny. All you have to do is say something nobody understands and they'll do practically anything you want them to." - J.D. Salinger in The Catcher in the Rye
Today we lost one of the greatest and most important writers of the 20th century. J.D. will be missed.

I try hard to post photos that I have saved with credits, but my desire to credit appropriately leaves some amazing photos out of this blog and only to be enjoyed by my eyes (a sad, sad thing)...so I wanted to do a post of many "unknowns." Enjoy.
Also, I am currently reading Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea (1952). It's a wonderful book so far, and just last night I came across a beautiful quote. Here it is:
"...as though the ocean were making love with something under a yellow blanket..." Only Hemingway. Beautiful.
